Bonnyton Hats was established in 2004 by Sandra Rook and is based in Aberdeenshire. We produce a unique range of bespoke hats, caps and turbans available by mail order. Our headwear is made to be worn by everyone, but is also designed with the problems of hair loss in mind. The hats are made with soft materials and can completely cover the hairline. Our designs include hats and turbans for use everyday - indoors, outdoors and in any kind of weather; soft sleeping hats in fleece and jersey; evening hats in satin, silk and velvet; and linings to make any hat – straw or wide-brimmed – more comfortable to wear. Bonnyton Hats endeavour to make whatever headwear our customers request and have created a wide variety of bespoke hats: from smoking caps for men to a silk turban to match a special outfit. We always keep a selection of hats and materials in stock, but we usually make the hats to order so that our customers can choose the style and fabric they prefer. We feel that it is very useful for our customers to be able to try the hats on at home, so following a brief conversation to establish what is required, we send out a small parcel of sample hats, together with swatches of fabric in the requested colours and patterns. The hats shown on the following pages are examples of the styles available and the ways they might be worn.

The hats can cover the hairline completely and securely. They can also be worn beneath other hats made of coarser materials such as straw.
